Don't use the form below for urgent eye problems. Sudden loss of vision, new flashes or floaters, a shadow or curtain across your vision, an eye injury or chemical in the eye needs urgent assessment.

If it's life-threatening, call 000. Otherwise contact an urgent eye-care service or your nearest emergency department. Sydney Eye Hospital has a 24-hour adult eye emergency service; children should go to a paediatric emergency department.
