About George

George Daher, optometrist in Castle Hill.

In practice since 1999. Australian owned and operated, full-scope, and built around one idea: look properly, then explain.

I give every exam the time it needs: to listen first, examine carefully and explain what I find in plain language. You should leave knowing what’s happening with your eyes and why.

George Daher, optometrist

How George works

George does every exam himself, from history to explanation. He has looked after Hills District eyes since 1999, and he would rather spend the time explaining than leave you guessing.

Every exam is a full-scope one. Alongside your prescription, George looks for early signs of macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, keratoconus and cataracts, and other conditions that threaten sight. He uses computerised and laser-based imaging where it adds something, and shows you what it shows him.
