Contact lenses

Contact lenses, fitted properly.

Soft and rigid lenses, for daily, fortnightly or monthly wear, including multifocal and bifocal designs and lenses that correct astigmatism. Whether you're trying contact lenses for the first time or changing lens type, George checks that the lens suits your eyes, your prescription and how you'll wear it.

The fitting

  1. An eye exam first, if you haven't had one recently.
  2. George measures the front of your eye and chooses a trial lens.
  3. You learn to put lenses in, take them out and care for them.
  4. A follow-up check to see how the lenses are going.

The range

  • Soft lenses

Daily, fortnightly and monthly replacement, for clear distance and reading vision.

  • Rigid lenses

Rigid gas-permeable lenses for people who get sharper vision from them, or whose eyes need them.

  • Multifocal and astigmatism

Specialty soft and rigid lenses in multifocal and bifocal designs, and lenses that correct astigmatism.

  • Ortho-k and keratoconus

Orthokeratology lenses worn overnight, an option George may discuss for slowing myopia in children, and specialised lenses for keratoconus.
